Who am I?

I’m a maker, modeller, photographer and inveterate tinkerer with a weakness for strange ideas and weathered things. I build miniature worlds, cobble together small electronic contraptions and wander through wild places with a camera looking for light, weather and the quiet drama of the landscape. I’m drawn to objects and scenes with history written into them: rust, worn timber, crooked structures, and places that feel like they’ve been forgotten for a while.

Most of what I do lives somewhere between craft, storytelling, and mild mischief. This site will be where the experiments, projects, photographs and occasional half-mad notions end up once they’ve escaped the workbench.

Some of my projects and ramblings have also found their way into print, appearing in modelling magazines where I occasionally share builds, experiments, and the odd hard-won lesson from the workbench.

Some of these eclectic items may appear in the shop section of this website. Please enjoy browsing.
